Speaking during the live broadcast, Aisha hinted the purpose of APLSCD, as an association built on love and care, with the aim of providing welfare and other medical and empowerment packages for persons living with sickle cell disorder. She highlighted that it became necessary for those who feel the pain to fight for themselves after they have received tons of neglects and betrayals from some quarters of the society.

The anchor of the program, Mr Echo, opened windows of questions to the coordinator of the Association, as regarding the Modus operandi of the association. In her replies, Aisha revealed that the association is hinged on equality and treats everyone as equal, and this equality necessitated the decision of the Association to rest her managerial counsel and responsibilities on her Chaplains and members of the board of trustees, as opposed to the usual appointment of executives among the members. She said that the association has no executives among her members so as to maintain the equality status among members.
